| The Shea Residence in
Madison was one of the first ICF homes to be built and recognized
in Wisconsin. It earned the Residential and the Southwest Region
Concrete Design Award in 1995. This 6,000 square feet home utilized
800 cubic yards of concrete, including 261 cubic yards of flowable
fill used for backfill. The two story, above grade, all-concrete
house includes 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, 2 family rooms, mud room,
living room, office and exercise room. The residence also used
concrete floors, a concrete privacy wall and a stamped and colored
patio. |
